Last night's episode of Keeping Australia Alive featured Annie Reynolds and her husband Gerry from Perth as Annie underwent a double mastectomy. With her was breast cancer surgeon Christobel Saunders, who sits on BCNA's board.

    Yes I watched it, very enthralling - there was no mention of sentinel nodes - I didn't pick up on the reason as to why they were taking the healthy breast as well as

    Tears all round for me.....especially the bubbas :(

    Quite confronting regarding the mastectomy....such a huge step and decision.......one I still have to make
