Hi All,

Going through my old portfolio for airbrushing and found this!

This was my first mural on a car bonnet.....the car went on to win many show awards, with the help of my artwork!

I haven't airbrushed in such a long time....really need to get back into it after treatment.....

This piece took me around 80 hours and I was terrified the whole time! (It's someones car you know!) But I was, and so was the owner, extremely happy with the result!

"Golden Eagle" - airbrushed acrylics on bonnet (no clear coat yet)

That is stunning, love it. I have never tried airbrushing but love the results. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you Jacqui....once you try it you'll be hooked!

I also did airbrushed tattoos for a number of years, but have scrapped that as my face painting is more profitable....

I love face painting! Nothing makes me more happy than to see the look on little ones faces when they see what they've "become"!

Some of the parents though are another story! LOL!

    Thank you Eileen!

I have made some money from my art, but I wouldn't say I could live off it! People are funny...they think the picture comes straight out of the pencil/brush! So when they are told how much a piece is, they have that "what?really?" look on their face.....most people who get quotes, don't order a portrait...I always show them the portrait that I did of Shirley Temple as an example and tell them that it took me over 100 hours, they are shocked!

My face painting gigs are the most fun...and i love doing wall murals, which is something I want to pursue further once I'm 100% again. I also love doing my Christmas decorations too.
