I wanted to share these posts with you just in case you may have missed them -

BCNA news and events

  • BCNA's Orange Forum will be taking place on Wednesday 23rd For more information on what it’s all about and where it will be held click here.
  • We would love to welcome Jill Rowbotham who has been appointed as BCNA State Development Manager in NSW to our wonderful team. To read more about Jill click here.
  • Chinese Language Resources Launch - The launch of our Chinese resources occurred in Sydney last Thursday.  The launch was held at the YWCA NSW in conjunction with CanRevive (a Chinese cancer support organisation).  Two of our Chinese Community Liaisons co-chaired the launch and Anna Bligh who is the CEO of the Y participated, it was a great success. To order these resources click here.
  • BCNA has developed a new fact sheet to help women and men living with secondary breast cancer understand their entitlements around accessing their lump sum superannuation pay outs and associated insurance benefits. There are many complexities around accessing these pay outs and we are concerned that it is such a complex process for people at a very stressful time in their lives. For more information you can read the media release or download our fact sheet from the website.

Do you have any events/festivals happening in your state this weekend? Melbourne will host the Grand Prix, lucky for me I will be in Tassie so I won’t hear it :)

Have a great weekend!
