Spring is in the air

The online network is a safe place where you can share your experiences and connect in with those who understand and have 'been there before you'. The conversations are not always positive and uplifting however this is what the online network is all about.

This week we have seen a few posts around the emotional impact of breast cancer and wanted to thank you all for showing your support. I know this would have helped not only the women posting but those other members simply reading through the discussions.

We wanted to share with you some of the posts that inspired us this week:

  • NE’s post titled 'Unlucky', has sparked great conversation around the use of language when talking about your breast cancer
  • Most of you in the online network have faced the daunting experience of your first treatment and Robyn-Lee’s post has surely reminded everyone what it feels like to be back at the starting line. Freaking out (We're glad to hear that Robyn-Lee’s experience was not as scary as she had anticipated.)
  • Thank you to Keet for sharing your experience about the emotional challenges and impacts that misbalanced hormones can bring upon everyday life. (Vent a little)

We continue to work in the back on a number of fixes and improvements including searching and tagging content, you may or may not have even noticed these changes. However, one area you will see improvements on is the online groups search page. In the past there has been no way to see a full list of online groups - so we spent some time changing the way the search page displays. You will now see the 'Search panel', 6 'Featured online groups' and if you scroll down you will see 'All online groups' listed in alphabetical order. Use the 'Next' button at the end of the page to go on to the next page of online groups.

    I am so happy with the change to the online groups search page. Can now finally see all the groups available & signed in to a couple more. Thank you for continually tweaking the network. Deb
