Finally back home in Cairns after an amazing two days in Melbourne. Thanks to Daina for hosting our engaging online community workshop. I am sure many more members will feel more confident to post in the online network after taking part in the workshop
It was so lovely to meet people I have been blogging with over the last couple of years. It was so nice to hear kind words from so many of you. It made me realise how we can really make a difference to people just by giving them words of encouragement and advice all in the comfort of our own home.
To finally meet you Daina and the other BCNA ladies was incredible and of course the icing on the cake was to meet two of my co-facilitators Louie and Chris from the breast reconstruction online group. I knew they were awesome before but meeting them just confirmed it.
