Dinners worthwhile or not?

Hi all - just tried to post yesterday's broadcast here, and it ended up in the general posts. Trying again now. I'll leave it a couple of weeks to see if there's any response. Pam x

Hi Melbournites. Thought it was time I sent out another quick broadcast, as the last one went out when this website was being upgraded and some of you might not have seen it. There were only 2 responses last time re interest in any more dinners. So...is anyone still interested in dinners, or are we all slowly moving on from the BC experience? I'm now 2 years post BC, and I'm happy to just let things lie with the group if that's what people want; also happy to hand over to someone else if they'd like to become a facilitator and organise dinners, or lunches which might better suit the city women . Please let me know your thoughts. If there's not much interest, the group may have served its purpose? Thanks, Pam xx

Hi, I am happy to do either lunches / coffee on a weekend or dinners whenever...Sadly I can't really take over running the show as I am working full time and have just started study as well...

I think a lot of people are moving on in their own way, also there was talk of a lot of different Facebook social / motivational groups popping up for BC related issues too...but. I'd be happy to help out where I can and come along to lunches or dinners when I can.

    From Bobbie

Thanks Bobbie. Yours was the only reply, so I think it's fair to say the group has served its purpose. There's a new group 'Reclaim your curves' which has grown from the reconstruction group, and I think they are planning Melbourne events. So I'd suggest that anyone interested in attending Melbourne events could look at that instead. It's been lovely sharing dinners with you! Best wishes, Pam
