Online network update
Afternoon all! Here are the latest updates on where we're at with improvements and fixes to the BCNA website and the online network.
We've had lots of new members joining our network in the last week: 39 new people and counting, making it our busiest week for the month. Many thanks to all those who've welcomed our new members - you are all helping to make this a safe and supportive environment, particularly for those who are at the begining of their journey.
In the last week we've also had 42 new posts, and over 160 comments. It has been great to see so many people helping by sharing advice and experiences on everything from medication and treatment, to social activities and emotional wellbeing.
Over the last week, these are some of the major issues that our developers have been working on:
- You may have seen a ‘daily digest’ pop up in your email this afternoon! These will continue to be sent out daily. To receive your daily digest, and your group broadcasts go to your settings and select to turn on your notifications.
- For all our group facilitators, should you need to broadcast to your groups, the broadcasting tool is up and running
- Some may have noticed that the online network drop down menu has slightly changed in order, this we hope will help everyone get to where they need to go faster
There will be more improvements rolled out over the coming weeks. These are some of the areas we'll be focusing on next:
- ‘The live activity feed’ is something we have been working on implementing. Once it is up on the network homepage, we will be asking for feedback.
- Please expect to see changes to your online inbox shortly - including a select all button and some easier navigation. There will also be updates made to the Junk email inbox.
- We will also be working more on notifications in the upcoming weeks
If you're having problems with any aspect of the new website, please leave a comment to let us know. Other members may be able to help you, and we can put together additional Help and FAQ resources if there is a need for specific advice.

Thanks Jess,
Just realised I had changed my BCNA password to an incorrect one. OOPS. Have fixed it now so hopefully will start to get emails.

Hi Jess, In My Messages, I am unable to use the Next button and on the page I can see the links don't work. I don't know if that is because they are older messages. I would prefer to see the latest message on the first page. thanks Maureen

Hey Jess, how are you hun, thanks for the update.
I did my broadcast for the Perth/WA Womens group Get Together and it was successful, yayyyy thank you.
I also tried to make an event for the same thing but not sure if it worked correctly. It kept saying there was an error but I couldn't find my error.
Thank you so much for the update and all the hard work you beautiful girls do for all of us.

Hi Jess, just thought you should know that in my recent posting I have been getting a pop up box telling me something went wrong. If I press the post box again, the message sends for the number of times I press the post box. I just had a message post 3 times which I'm sure will be frustrating to the person I send the message to. Maureen
