Hi  My name is Muriel White and I have just joined BCNA and this group.  I am very interested in crafts especially making stuff from what other people throw away.   I sell my stuff to fund raise for my favourite charities and I find my activities has helped me a lot with my diagnosis and the anxiety and depression which comes from it.   I will try and work out how to put some photos on to show what  I make.

    Hi Muriel

My surname is also White.......it is quite a common name I have found.

I also recycle where I can.  Currently I am making supa capes for sick kids in hospital.  There is a group called Capes4Kids. I check out the op shops and can normally pick up near new doona covers which I then turn in to capes. I also sew a little for my grandee, soon to be grandees :)

I find sewing very therapeutic and luv that we are able to give back to the environment but also to people that need.

    Luv always, Mich xoxo

Hi ladies, I'm a sewer and an artist. I make drain bags from fabric off cuts for our local breast care nurse to give out to those having breast surgery. My art group is making a memory quilt at the moment which has been fun. I'd love to see pics of your creations.I'll put some up if I can ever work out how to do it.Tonya xx

I used to recycle old jeans into teddy bears, they were very popular. Don't sew much these days, beading has taken over my life.

Would love to see what you are making.

    Cheers Christina
