Hi Gals

Well I have just spent a morning at my daughters school talking to the VCE kids. The theme was 'Making a difference" so it fitted in well with BCNA! The kids also spoke about what they are involved in.. Amnesty International, Blood donations, Violence against women , an ex student talked about volunteering with Green Geko in Cambodia then it was my daughter Katie & myself. We discussed volunteering locally in our community with breast cancer, support groups, BCNA commnity liason, CCVic,and our volunteer  trip to India with Highways Infinite. It was a tougher gig than I anticipated.. they are a tricky audience, and we were last on, before lunch so they got a little distracted. The best part was my daughter introducing me and calling me 'awesome' infront of her peers. I had several male students come up after and also express they enjoyed the talk. The pink lady shone on the screen at the MCG, minifields and of course in Ladakh. Take Care all and hope to catch up some where some time :)
