I like the new normal

I was nervous about Christmas. Emotionally, physically and financially I was unsure how I was going to manage Christmas. Everything had changed. But it was wonderful. It was a wonderful day just being with people I care about. It was about just being together, not about presents or food or anything else. Just being together. Attitudes were different somehow. No one was stressed about it all. What a revelation!

    I had a similar xmas i was prepared but couldn't care a less i was going to enjoy even if it was so boring, and it was a nice mixed and relaxed balance. Nice isnt it, may it continue

    I am a traditionalist, I love christmas and all the trimmings that go with it but this last christmas my best gift wasn't under the tree. We have a grandson who is just about to turn 2 and Oliver has Ceribal Palsey, he isunable to sit up unaided, crawl, or walk and he doesn't talk, well at christmas Ollie started to crawl! Its that comando type of crawl but who cares he is mobile. The best things certainly do not need unwrapping.

    I am so happy for you that your christmas went well.
