It's been an absolute pleasure
Dear members,
It's with mixed feelings that I write my last blog post as BCNA CEO. I’m sad to be leaving but excited to have more time to pursue my other interests.
It has been an absolute pleasure to be the CEO of BCNA for the last three years. I am pleased to be leaving the organisation in great shape with a team of wonderful staff and volunteers. I am very proud of BCNA's achievements over the past three years. We couldn't have done it without you. I now look forward to watching the organisation go from strength to strength.
During my time as CEO, I have loved working with so many wonderful people who are dedicated to helping BCNA improve the experience and outcomes for all Australians affected by breast cancer. The people I have met and worked with have been a great inspiration to me.
One of my greatest pleasures in this role has been the opportunity to meet so many of our members right across the country. The core of BCNA remains you – our members – and all those Australians personally affected by breast cancer that we represent. Thank you for your support and for making my time at BCNA so enjoyable and rewarding.
Very best wishes to you all for Christmas and the New Year.
Maxine
