Just when I thought my friends had given up on me they pulled out all stumps. My girlfriends visited me the blokes took Chris to the pub then later ordered in pizzas.
What s night. What friends we have. I feel very lucky and wanted you all to know about my positive experience for a change. Friends like that are pretty special. We had a good laugh and a few drinks and I managed to cry only once.
Cheers. Hope you all had a good day too. Hugs Nicole x

Feeling a bit nervous. Driving myself to physio appointment today. First sign of independence for months. Will probably be the last time for a while too as I start chemo again on Wednesday.
So, nervous but excited. Wish me luck!0 -

I took a while to feel ok driving mostly because of emotional rather than physical issues. I just felt overwhelmed if I had to cope with too much happening around me or drive somewhere I was not familiar with. But somewhere along the way I got my confidence back. I did drive myself to radiotherapy everyday and it felt good to take that step towards independence again. Hope your physio appointment goes well. Deanne xxx0
