- Patti_JMemberThanks any way @aseers, but I am a bit far away.
- aseersMemberWow I'm really sorry to hear that! All are welcome to paddle as many times as they would like! Would you like to come and have a try with us in Docklands, Melbourne, if that works for you? We'll be keen to show you what a positive experience it can be! :) :) :)
- Patti_JMemberMmmm...... Not a happy experience with my local dragon boat racing group. Didn't let me participate more than once. Thought I was there to support someone with brast cancer. I had to drive for 45 minutes to get there.
Hope your group is better. 😐 - arpieMemberWe have an active Dragon Boating group in my town - but I prefer to be in a kayak & have a fishing rod in my hand!! ;) A few of my uke members have been members of their group & have even gone to Hong Kong & other places to compete!!
Have fun! - aseersMemberSorry you've still got a few medical hurdles - please contact us when you feel ready to have a go, we're looking forward to meeting you! :) :) :)
- poodlejulesMemberLooks like fun! Told myself last year I'd give it go this year but a few medical hurdles to jump over before I do.
