Re: Heart aflutter again.
Apparently I wasn't taking the right dose of one of the heart meds lol. It came in a little bottle and the label was a wrap around with a kink halfway thru the dose rate. The new ones came in a box with a good big flat label I can read so instead of half a tab morning and night, its actually half in the morning and full tab at night. It seems to be working better now with no middle of the night atrial fibrillation.
I survived breast cancer, I am surviving heart troubles, I survived covid. Now if I can just survive this house move on 23rd March things should go much easier.

Go you 👏👏👏
I love my dentist and know he is a perfectionist and loves being a dentist.
doesn’t stop me being 10 out if 10 on the anxiety scale!
years ago when I had root canal therapy and a crown 😱😱
I said to him “ next time how about I give you $2,000 and you don’t touch me?”
He said “ sounds like a win /win”.

Re: achievement!
Well done, you, @Blossom1961 .... I've always hated the needles too - and I hate the fast & slow drills as well!!
I had a big resin rebuild 2 weeks ago & also surprised myself - the needle for a block anaesthetic is a bit like a wasp sting - they put the needle in many times, at different angles, to make sure it WON'T hurt during the filling - but the needle is almost as bad as the filling!!
It brought moisture to my eyes .... but that was it!
I used to cry back when my Dad gave me needles (he was a dentist) and often, I'd be in tears before i even got onto the chair, just thinking about it! LOL. And he was FAMILY!

Re: achievement!
The dentist I am seeing is gentle, and I have found most are, but what I find hurts the most is the cost... ouch!!!!
Although I must say I think I am more anxious these days with any medical/dental procedure. It doesn't get any easier, just because we have had lots of medical/dental procedures prior. You did well @Blossom1961 .

Re: achievement!
I have been engaged in saving a molar I don’t want to lose and found an ondodontist who does painless root canals - all three! Most impressed. He’s also one of the most time and motion savvy practitioners I have ever encountered, everything done with maximum efficiency. I get so intrigued I forget about any unpleasantness! A good medical
practitioner is an excellent thing.

Re: It’s scanxiety that finally pulled me down…
@Fufan
My sympathies, it can be really nerve-wracking. To a degree, it’s some of the feeling you might have had earlier, expressing itself now. Scans simply remind you of the whole box and dice, with the threat of it all perhaps happening again.
If my own experience is anything to go by, it gets better. The phantom twinges and odd sensations, the fear that this time it was something real that accompanied my yearly tests, went on for some time. Then just stopped. Nothing happened, the anxiety just packed up and went. Like everything else in this caper, the tests just became a normal part of life.
If you can ‘normalise’ the wretched referrals, it helps too! Ask for an ongoing one for your surgeon, or anyone else you may need to see for some time, so these Medicare induced timelines don’t catch you out (we’ve all been there). Your GP needs to know this is distressing for you - office procedures are one thing, but they have consequences.
Best wishes, take care.

Re: Letrozole - Fracture in spine
So sorry to read of your fracture - but so glad it is not Mets xxx. I think you'll have to be very aware of what you are lifting (and how) - eg your grandson, the wet washing, putting things away in cupboards etc .... cos there's not much they can to to 'fix' the fracture, other than R&R ... so take care xx
That's great that your MG & US are all clear too xx. Woohoo xx
take care xx

Re: Letrozole - Fracture in spine
Thanks @iserbrown and @Keeping_positive1. Agree knowing is much better and I can do something about it. I will look at those sites you mentioned too. I do pilates with the physio so will be getting my program updated now I have these results.
The self care never stops and takes a reasonable bit of my day, every day. I am glad I know what it is and I can now take steps to help my situation. Thank you to everyone for reading my vent. Much appreciated.
On a positive note I had my 3rd mammogram and ultrasound today post diagnosis ie year 3 and all clear- no evidence of disease. Horaay!
