Radiation fatigue
I’m about to finish my chemotherapy next week but I’ll be starting 3 and a half week of radiation at the end of of August. How fatiguing is the radiation? I know I will have skin issues but the only person I know who had radiation had hers on her face for a different form of cancer. Has anybody been able to keep working through radiation?189Views

Port-a-cath Pain
Hi everyone, I've had a port-a-cath put in on Tuesday 24 March and I'm just concerned about the pain I'm getting across the top of my back between my shoulder blades and across the top of my chest. It's like an ache but gets a bit more uncomfortable when I breath in a bit deeply. Has anyone else had this pain with their port-a-cath? I know I've only just had it done but I was just wondering if this kind of pain when healing is normal?93Views

Immunotherapy trial on Atezolizumab
Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone on here is currently on the Atezolizumab clinical trial. I am about to start chemo and have also been offered the chance to participate in this clinical trial. The oncologist has given me all the information and side effects, but some of them sound really scary, although they're the uncommon ones. I was just hoping someone on here was already on this trial and could give me some insight into how they were going with it.98Views

Pathology Results and onwards...
I got my pathology results yesterday after my lumpectomy and sentinel node removal on the 24/2. I was so relieved to learn that the cancer hasn't spread to my lymph nodes, I cried when the surgeon told me! I'm still up for chemo for about 5 months though because mine is a triple negative, doing a CT and bone scan on Friday to double check no other cancer cells have lodged anywhere. So still a ways to go but one less thing to worry about now. Yay!670Views

Lymph node removal site tender
Hi ladies, Just wondering if the tenderness I am having at the site of my lymph node removal is normal. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node removal done on 24/2/20 and until the weekend just gone have had no pain or tenderness. But over the weekend and today my lymph node wound feels quite tender and I'm just wondering if this is normal. I don't have any swelling in my arm at all however the wound site under my dressing feels slightly more swollen compared to the same place on my other side. I do have my followup appointments tomorrow but was just wondering if you think this increased tenderness is unusual. Thanks402Views

Re: Hi everybody
Hi @YellowRobin, how did you pull up after your surgery? Was yours a lump removal as well? And did you have a sentinel node dye injection before your surgery? Sorry for all the questions, just getting a feel for what I'll be like next week.13Views
