Thankfully I know more this time.
So, 7 and a bit years after a Stage 3 E+ PR+ breast cancer diagnosis in the left breast, I am facing some changes in the right breast. Picked up in yearly mammogram/ultrasound. Nobody has suggested it is cancer just yet but given my history I am booked in for a core biopsy next Monday. I am very clear in my head about what…

Change in Needle Core Biopsy Site
Hi All, I had a needle core biopsy 9 days ago. Haven’t had much discomfort but my breast is a bit achy this morning and the lump is bigger. I’m hoping this is normal. I made the mistake of googling and opened up a Pandora’s box of nightmares! 😬 Anyone with similar symptoms? Thanks xxx

Active Treatment Over – waiting for 1 year check up
My name is Karyn and was 45 years old at time of diagnosis (now 46) in February 2018. It was a full on, high octane, hurry up and wait time of about 6 months until I was declared in remission in September 2018. I don’t think I’ll quite believe it until March when I have my first mammogram and ultrasound. I’ve read other…

Check with arms up infront of mirror ladies. Tamworth NSW
My mammograms are all up to date. My last one was in May 2018. It was the 6th October a Saturday evening as I stood in front of the mirror bare from the waist up and reached above my head to tie up my long hair, I noticed a very slight indentation happen under my nipple on my left breast, I thought it was unusual, so I…
