anyone on Arimidex and gained weight ?? a couple of months ago I noticed Id gained about 8kg I thought that was because my doc upped my dose of anti dep, so i cut that out, but I still feel like Im gaining weight as my clothes dont fit like they did. is this a common issue with such meds??
One year into Arimidex and keen to know what others do to relieve the joint aches and pains. Hot flashes have reduced to occasional events (short trips to the tropics 😉) but there's been no let up on the aches and pains. Nevertheless, loving every day!!
Good morning i am coming to the end of my 5 years on arimidex. I have a question for those of you who have completed their course of arimidex. Does the side effects go away once you stop taking it. I need some assurance that the hot flushes/night sweats disappear and the weight gain stops. Thanks Bev

I just took a break on Arimidex for 1 month and now I have started the tablet again but I am thinking of going off it now because I hate it! Bit worried 😧 about going off it and not doing another five years? Any thoughts? Should I just know I have done 6 and that’s good enough?

Hello. I have been taking Arimidex for nearly 4 years post surgery/ chemo and Radiation. I've =now recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and could it be the Arimidex or maybe a result of Chemo and/or radiation?
