Pain after breast cancer

I am almost 2 years post breast cancer diagnosis and omg the bone pain is horrendous.  I’m currently on Letrozole, Gabapentine, vitamin D and calcium
my pain is 24/7 from my feet to my head and I’ve had a continuous pain in the middle of my back.  I have an appointment to see a rheumatologist this week… but omg I just need some relief from it….I have looked in to medicinal cannabis
what are everyone’s thoughts please
  • Bone pain is a side effect I'm enduring.  For me it's in the legs!

I would suggest you see the Rheumatologist to confirm your diagnosis first.  Is it a side effect or do you have rheumatoid arthritis?

If you type in the search bar you will find discussion on Medical Cannabis

    Take care
  • Hi @mumma4, AIs can certainly cause joint pain so seeing a rheumatologist will be helpful. I did have some pain on Letrozole but I was fortunately that it settled for me. I am not on Letrozole now due to progression. In terms of medicinal cannabis it sure helps many people. It's an individual choice but it does work for many people and there are many places it is accessible now, even online. There are a few members on here that have had success with it, including myself. It's can also be helpful for sleep too. Pain is exhausting and I hope you get your pain uncontrol.
  • Thankyou I did watch it
it was very informative and Naveen was great, exactly what she said I have coz I thought I was the only one.  I have a spot right in the middle of my back which has been very sore for a few months and my oncologist (not my regular one) just dismissed it and referred me to a rheumatologist….
