More nose sores

It was July 2020 when I had little sores up my nose from constant runny nose after chemo.   Like others I still have a runny nose from time to time.
I've got these little sores back.  It feels like my whole nose is swollen and it is incredibly painful to touch.   I've tried all sorts of creams to help them.  If I sneeze I feel my head will explode.  Has anyone else had these little sores.   I was only at gp the other day.  Looks like I'm going back to gp for help.   In the scheme of things it is only sores up my nose but it's so damn painful.

    I too got a crusty, scabby nose from Taxol. My doctor recommended nasal oil (over the counter from the chemist, the one I got was refined sesame oil!) and it did actually help. A swab may be a good idea, just to be sure, but spots may be due to damage to nasal hair (I never knew how important nasal hair was until chemo!) as damaged follicles may be more open to infection. I hope you get some relief soon. Best wishes.

    That's a bugger @Locksley - maybe get the GP to take a swab of it (even if he has to break one open to get the 'bits') ...... it really needs identifying.  Blowing your nose would be a nightmare, too!

    I get a pimple on the upper inside edge of my nose now & then it is INCREDIBLY painful!!  It is only the ONE spot, too!  I try to pop it & then put 4711 on it (cologne) to sanitise it!

    Must admit I’ve had similar  off and on over last 18 months with various chemo regimes - ended up being bloody internal scabs .I’ve just become used to them so I’ll be interested in any solutions/treatment others have used .
