Final round ac has sucked the life out of me
Rant only. I survived the first 2 round A C without much side effects but holy dooly the final two have really knocked me for a six! Lethargic AF and getting tingling numb feeling in my left hand fingers tips dry eyes and mouth thrush coming in at at angles. And as for eating nothing tastes good anymore ☹ and super super thirsty all the time. Getting frustrated at life in general plus have to start the paclitaxel soon which not looking forward after this episode. Cancer is crappy 🤯🤯🤯

- AC is a miserable combination of drugs and I feel your pain. Going back for my fourth one was a great battle psychologically and I understand how hard it is to take your body in there and let those drugs be injected into you again. I am sending you a hug with great feeling in it because it is a very hard, hard thing to do when you know what’s coming.I know everyone is different but I can reassure you that paclitaxel is very different. Having weekly smaller doses gave me back my life at least for 9 treatments. The last 3 made me much more tired as it is cumulative but still nothing like the AC. I had my LAST dose this morning. I can’t believe I made it to be honest.You can do this. If I can, anyone can. I am not strong, I am pretty fragile nowadays and I still got through.Best wishes xx

It certainly is crappy, I have had 2 rounds of ac and both times ended up in hospital, I am sooooo tired and ill its a pain.Karenp23 said:Rant only.
