Rant only. I survived the first 2 round A C without much side effects but holy dooly the final two have really knocked me for a six! Lethargic AF and getting tingling numb feeling in my left hand fingers tips dry eyes and mouth thrush coming in at at angles. And as for eating nothing tastes good anymore ☹ and super super thirsty all the time. Getting frustrated at life in general plus have to start the paclitaxel soon which not looking forward after this episode. Cancer is crappy 🤯🤯🤯

However keep an eye on the finger tingling and let your oncologist know if it worsens. You may want to consider ice gloves/socks for Taxol, to minimise any risk of peripheral neuropathy. Best wishes.

I struggled through the first two AC but breezedthrough the last two. Five days after the last one, WHAM. Fatigued and exhausted. This lasted for about five weeks. By then I was on taxol and didn’t know what was causing what. Turns out it was the AC build up. Ugh! It will get better but I understand the frustration.

Is that tingling constant in left arm?. I am worried it could be cardiac as I haven't heard this side effect. If remaining unwell and any ache in your jaw or worsening in hand please go to ED and just have it excluded

Like you I have just had my last red devil dose. Ask your oncologist about Hand Foot Syndrome, I got that after dose 2 and it was painful. Numbing and swelling in right hand was bad, followed by calluses and skin peeling. They delayed the dose for a week, and I found cold on my hands and Moo Goo cream really helped. Eye drops as well for the dry eyes.

Final round ac has sucked the life out of me

AC is a miserable combination of drugs and I feel your pain. Going back for my fourth one was a great battle psychologically and I understand how hard it is to take your body in there and let those drugs be injected into you again. I am sending you a hug with great feeling in it because it is a very hard, hard thing to do when you know what’s coming.
I know everyone is different but I can reassure you that paclitaxel is very different. Having weekly smaller doses gave me back my life at least for 9 treatments. The last 3 made me much more tired as it is cumulative but still nothing like the AC. I had my LAST dose this morning. I can’t believe I made it to be honest.
You can do this. If I can, anyone can. I am not strong, I am pretty fragile nowadays and I still got through.

Following up to see how you are going?? Paclitaxel how are you managing this one ???
Had my 3rd ac and put into hospital for 4 days, soooooo over it, sick of the body pain, no energy headache etc etc. My last one is due in just over a week and really not looking forward to it at all , i just feel i cannot take much more, and I do not get any breaks from the side effects.Then I start Paclitaxel like you I am just so confused and worried. I know everybody is different but ?????

It certainly is crappy, I have had 2 rounds of ac and both times ended up in hospital, I am sooooo tired and ill its a pain.
