Avoiding a sore throat

Eat Pineapple, l found it helped me during my chemo

Reallly, I have often craved pineapple but avoided it as I thought it might give me ulcers @SoldierCrab maybe I need to re consider 🤗

@Kellee My GP recommended pineapple during chemo. It has a special enzyme that's helps your mouth. I cut it up and froze it in portions. It was the only thing that cut through my obliterated tastebuds during chemo. Nice to eat during the warmer weather too.

If pineapple works maybe kiwi fruit and paw paw would help. They all work well in a marinade, or is that too much information?

I think bromelain from fresh pineapple has also been tested as a treatment for hay fever.

I’ve been craving pineapple and now that I have it cut up in the fridge it’s not giving me the satisfaction I expected. I guess it’s not sweet enough. Fruit is quite shit atm from Coles, no taste and spoiling quickly. I’m continuing with it tho. Interesting about the hay fever. It will be great if it helps that too. Thanks ladies xxx

Try freezing it @Kellee. That's what my GP suggested and helped it for me. Plus, can you try a good greengrocer? Sometimes their produce is better than the big two supermarkets! K xox
