Ovaries & Letrozole
I’ve been on letrozole now for about 3 weeks and thought why didn’t they offer to take my ovaries out?
Would it be because I’m post menopausal? Hmmm

- HendrixMember@Afraser yeah I need to move more, instead f sitting on my backside :)
- AfraserMemberI dropped cheese from my diet some time ago for a number of reasons. I had been drinking low fat milk for years, and Icelandic style Skyr is delicious, but it didn't make sense doing that and tucking into my favourite, a good triple cream Brie! I miss it a bit, but it has helped keep my weight stable. Holidays are easy because I walk more, and come home kilos lighter. What I need is a walking desk!
- primekMember@MKitty68 Yes I think it's a similar concept. The WW ones just have a paper version of the recipe in tbe box I believe and it is pointed as per WW plan. But any food can be eaten on the plan it is doesn't matter where tbe food comes from.
Same as you could use the My fitness Pal or fitbit app to record calories and utlise tbe boxes for new ideas and healthy choices.
It all works really. It's making the lifestyle swap and committing daily that makes it work.
Hello fresh are also not in my area...and also not practical presently for my family size. But I'm sure it would be fantastic for others. - MKitty68Member@primek those boxes look similar to the Hello Fresh ones I used to get. I intend to get back into using them when i'm working again, I found i eat much healthier when i'm using those, and you can add on fresh fruit & juicing boxes too. (Hello Fresh also have promo's where if someone uses your code, you both get $50 credit, if anyone want's to try them use code WUP9C9 )
I like the fact they also have an app with an interactive recipe. It tells you what to do step by step and has multiple timers so you don't have to think about it too much yourself. I've wanted to try some of he other meal boxes, but none of the other's seem to have the app. - HendrixMember@Flaneuse oh tell me about it...so hard now!
- FlaneuseMemberThe Michael Mosley 8-week blood sugar program is very successful. Healthy, yummy food, and satisfying (though often fiddly to cook, I admit). A group of friends and I did it late in 2016 and lost 10 kg in 8 weeks. But then I put it back on in 2017 because of a long holiday. I've been trying to eat in that style (no sugar, low carb, lots of veg and protein) lately to lose weight before surgery, but stress hasn't been helpful with abstaining from the comfort of cheese, wine and chocolate! - ZoffielMemberI'm over being fat. Though it is better than being dead, I suppose. 12 months later I'm not sure I can keep blaming the chemo for the roll around my gut and the fact my flabby arse slaps me on the back of the thighs as I walk. Sigh.
- HendrixMember@primek thank you :)
