  • Yes interesting it’s been given to postmenopausal women to prevent breast cancer occurring and that it’s still doing so 7 years after stopping the drug.

    Am a bit curious however that Letrozole seems to be frontline treatment here.
  • Wow!  Thanks for that @Romla      That sounds really positive as an alternative to Tamoxifen for post menopausal women.  I am personally finding Arimidex easier to take than Letrozole and Exemestane.

    Amazing that they are  trialling it in the UK as a “preventative” rather than a cure  ..... that may save countless women from BC diagnoses in the first place!

    I hope so

    In the future, I can imagine a small chemo/AI capsule being made availble to all BC sufferers
