Letrozole

I've been on femera for about 6 months, doing ok really after initial horrible 2 weeks. But in the last two weeks really starting to have hot flushes. has anyone experienced delayed side effects and what did you do?
  • I discovered that I was sensitive to panadol even without fever and would have hot flushes after having it. I only realised it was panadol not the letrozole only after starting fish oil and losing a little weight as my joint pain improved so took panadol rarely then. So for me...it was the panadol taken to combat joint aches...not the actual letrozole that caused it.
  • I was already have hot flushes from chemopause but a month after starting Letrozole they got a lot worse and have stayed that way ever since. Bone and joint pain has got progressively worse since I started. Though the hands have eased off a bit. I have started taking Gabapentin which is helping with the hot flushes at night but making me very drowsy in the mornings.
