  • When my hair grew back after chemo it was much thinner around my temples and still is. I haven't noticed any thinning or hair loss, but I have quite thick hair.
  • Thanks sounds just like me I'm 41 and just beginning I'm getting the shits with this sore throat constantly sucking on a soother and now honey lemon drinks last 3 minutes can I ask how's your hair any thinning
  • Hi @nimac, I started arimadex in December last year and zoladex I've been on since February 2017. My joints are as stiff as a corpse lol. I'm 44 and feel like 104. My hands and feet constantly ache. My memory is shot, I can't remember anything and it's pissing me off. My oncologist says we all have memory problems. I disagree as before all this shit treatment my memory was fine . I bend down and struggle to get myself up again. The joys lol .
  • Hi nimac. I started on Letrozole two months ago and have dry mouth, nose & eyes, sore ankle joints, awful hot flushes, constipation and sleep problems. Lots of women say that the side effects settle down after about six months so I'm slogging through hoping that they do. I'm experimenting with supplements to help the joint pain, currently taking magnesium. My ankles haven't been as bad this month. I don't know if that's the magnesium or just my body adjusting. I'm going to stop taking them next week and see what happens. Big hug, K xox
  • Hi @nimac,

Welcome to the forum lovely.  Lots of genuinely awesome people on here to give you some advice and support. Sounds like a lot of us here. You're not alone.  It will get easier but it's going to take a while for your body to get used to everything that's going on.  Hang in there.  There are many many many going through the same thing.  If you are awake at ungodly o'clock we have a thread called Night Howls  where you can chat to everyone that can't sleep!

    All the best.
