Absolutely Devastated !

Today I received news one of my 3 sisters who had Uterine cancer in 2010 and received the all clear in June last year has stage 4 incurable lung cancer. She has never smoked in her life and has been healthy otherwise. Chest X Ray a year ago for a sore back showed nothing on examination. Now, Cat and PET scan and biopsies a month later she received the diagnosis. She retired a year ago and was enjoying helping out with her grandchildren aged 7 & 8 years old. She has one daughter. 

Out of 7 children - I've had breast cancer twice , oldest sister bowel cancer, her - uterine cancer, brother cerebral haemorrhage , brother heart tumour and youngest sister had a recall for breast biopsy and ultrasound on her breast for next Tuesday. My father had breast cancer - he was the first and since then there are 15 relatives with it , some no longer with us. BRCA gene negative for me and positive for  cousins. Can't believe the news, soooo unfair . So much in our family . Just felt like a rant and I choose you ladies , where else would I go? Sorry if it's not allowed on BRCA but cancer is cancer .
