Hi Beatha, as another new member to this club I’d like to say welcome but this is a club I wouldn’t wish on anyone. However, we are not alone, there are lots of women and some men also travelling this road. It’s scary, overwhelming, confusing, and has put a big pause in my life as I am sure it has yours. Be kind to yourself and be selfish, prioritise your needs.
I am one week post lumpectomy and all nodes removed. I am uncomfortable and frustrated as normally very active. I have had to accept that this is the way it is for now but it will get better.
