Did the cold cap and well worth it. I shedded more hair than I thought I would but everyone's different. What was left I cut short and now I have fluff covering where I lost it the most. Never bald anywhere but very thin. Not fussed as at least it's growing. Every step is scary and I found being upfront was half the battle and very useful as people can be frightened to ask. That way everyone can support and help you which is what you'll need in spades. Let people help in any way they can. No doubt shoe on the other foot you'd do the same back. You'll need to rest and look after number one. Your getting through treatment and back on your feet is paramount and everyone will be there for you if you communicate. My husband can do things when asked but can't see what needs to be done and I hated asking but I had to as I knew it wouldn't get done and he did all I asked with a kind heart. Take care and look after yourself with a positive attitude. You are the most important being at the moment, and yes it's all about you, riding this roller-coaster. Before you know it the ride will end and you can resume your life. My motto is to never let the c word rob me if anything..
