Hi
Just here to say hi. Diagnosed 3 days ago and all I know right now is that I have breast cancer, the tests were still coming through but I hounded my GP into an appointment to tell me what they knew....
Hi Never_better,
I was diagnosed about a week ago. I turned 60 last September when my husband told me the spark was gone. A month later he said he wanted a divorce. Six months later I was diagnosed with cancer in my breast and primary lymph node. Been having a sore neck, a centralised vertigo episode and now a swollen stomach which is making me feel like it is everywhere. I feel so alone, but looking for new treatments on the internet to keep me hopeful. It is hard to talk with family because emotions can run high about what I should be doing and when. I hope to connect with others in this community who really understand.
Hi Clementine
It's certainly hard yards the predicament you are in however you have found this forum and BCNA website that can help you through!
You mentioned you were looking for new treatments on the internet - please don't comb the internet - information is sometimes out of date and sometimes an opinion that is personal and not necessarily factual.
The BCNA website is a wealth of information and podcasts to help you through.
You haven't mentioned the type of cancer so here's a link for you to read and understand your type
