Have you tried Bepanthem Soothing cream. ( blue box) You can purchase it in supermarkets in the baby isle.
I found that it took out the heat and redness quite quickly, it will probably help with the itchiness.
Most likely itching as you are starting to peel.
If you use Bepanthem soothing cream make sure you put a dressing over it as it is very greasy.
I was shown by the breast nurse to apply it onto your skin thick ( like you’re icing a cake) with a wooden spatula stick. I was doing that morning and night.
