Got a call to say they have made a tentative booking for my chemo to start, Tuesday 16/2! ....my heart sank....I'm not ready for that!...but will you ever be? Arrgh!

Good on you. I got my long hair cut shorter as well as after so many years of kilos of hair I figured my neck muscles needed a little time of adjustment before chemo. As it turned out the first round of chemo didn't take all of my hair and I have just enough to bless myself with and it won't be such a shock in another week or so when its all gone.
