Rads Grad
This morning I had my last radiation session. Can't believe I did 30 of those. Skin broke just this week so now I am learning about burn management. No bra for me for the next week or so. I have also developed cording - ouch!! Today developed rash on rest of body, low fever and nausea which was of a concern for medical staff. Endone is helping with the stinging from the burns as well as the cording. Sent home with a small carry-on-case-sized worth of dressings and creams. Have a feeling I am going to need all that. Hopefully my skin will start to recover soon.

All the very best for it Jacqui and here's hoping the last session comes quickly for you.

Thanks. Good luck to you for the rest of chemo. Chemo was definitely tougher for me than radiation. You'll be finished in no time and then, fingers crossed, radiation will be easier for you.

Thanks Tracey and Maryrose. The soluble is a godsend. Haven't heard of taking nail, hair, skin supplements but that makes total sense. I like the suggestion of soft crop maternity bras - I will look into that. Today was the first day without the itch. Thank goodness. I think I am already on the mend.

I also used solugel and dressings. I bought these soft crop maternity bras from big w to keep it all stuffed into as at one stage i almost lost it all walking down the street!. You will be surprised how quickly the skin heals. It was the itchiness that drove me nuts. Hope things start to improve soon for you.

Well done Nadi, what a woman ! ! My skin healed after about 3 weeks using solugel and non stick dressings. I've also been taking a hair, skin and nails supplement for a while and this helps with repair of your nails and healthy hair regrowth.
Hope that this helps, sending you a big cuddle ??????????
