I am 10 weeks post radiation after mastectomy and have a painful chest wall, neck and shoulder. Rolling in bed at night is awful after I have been in one position for a while. Ct scan last week was clear. My surgeon wants me to have physio so I will try that. The nights are hard enough to deal with and this discomfort has made things much worse. I am sympathising with you ladies. 

@luckynov I’m much the same as you, lumpectomy and then radiotherapy and a bit of burning 10 days after finishing. But 4 months on I too am feeling uncomfortable, especially in bed. I’ve not been able to describe it but I don’t think I’m as uncomfortable as you seem to be. Good luck with your hydrotherapy, I hope it helps.

I feel a bit of a fraud after reading everyone's comments of pain and distress.  I sailed through the op (lumpectomy) and radiotherapy with a little discomfort and burning 2 weeks after I finished.  But now, 6 months post radiation, I have incredible pain in my treated breast and chest wall.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Pain is worse at night, in bed, lying on my back or side and just moving in bed is awful.  I've been prescribed nerve analgesia, plain analgesics, sleepers with little success.  I find most of them mess my head the next day so I don't take anything.  
I've just started gentle hydrotherapy (with a physio) hoping this may help and also continuing to massage the breast with moo goo after showering and before bed.

@Abbydog me too! I seriously thought I’d be in hospital for burns treatment. But really good, Flamizine working really wel
after Mepilex Ag dressings- continuing dressings, bathing saline and Flamizine. Have Targin and Endone for pain now reduced need. Actually can see an end now 🙏🥰🌸

@ChezH Thank you - yes- this week huge turnaround. Medication fixed so pain under control and new nurse has taken from painful bleeding mess to new skin and only under breast needs dressing. I honestly am so relieved and amazed it’s turned around so quickly. Good luck with radiotherapy- lesson leant - ASK if you think you need more information or you aren’t confident in care you receive. So much is going on but don’t double guess yourself. Hugs 💗💗
