You have to bear it but definitely don’t have to be grinning while bearing it 😣. It is very painful - I was so unprepared for how painful it was. Flamazine smothered all over was such a relief once the skin broke down.
I didn’t work - I just functioned and that’s about it.
Be prepared mentally that it won’t start healing the day after your last treatment. Once it begins to heal, it’s amazing how quickly it’s done, but it won’t start to get better for some days after. It’s hard to take when you’re expecting that - ‘ right, I’m done and now it will heal.’ It takes time so you have to hang in there a little longer.
