Radiotherapy tingles
12 of 35 sessions completed. I have started to feel the tingle of sunburn on my side. I have mepitel film, is there a safe way to cool it down without affecting the mepitel?

- Second last rads today, I feel and look like a baked ham. My armpit is bleeding and my back looks like someone threw a bucket of hot water over my shoulder. They don't use the film here, I wanted to, but they are trialling it at another facility and would not allow me to use it.
Oh well, it will get better. I was out walking yesterday and two little dogs started following me. I thought they were cute until it occured to me they were stalking me because I smell like a BBQ. - Yep use one of those gel freezer ones l would take it in my esky and then put it on the boob while l drove home
- Hi @Gerryb. I have just finished Radiotherapy last week and used the Mepitel film. I found placing an ice pack there was the best thing not only for the tingle but for the itch too I started to get at the end. Good Luck with the rest of your Radio. Mel xx
