Radiotherapy side effects
ive completed 5 of 30 radiotherapy treatments to date.
I have been told the two common side effects are skin reactions and tiredness.

I have had 4 out of 25 so far & feeling a little bit warm. I talked to the radiation oncologist today & they don't provide Mepitel at Lifehouse because they don't have the nursing staff to apply it & also she said studies have shown that steroid cream is more effective so they provide you with it to use twice daily & sorbolene. I am not having underarm done as lymph nodes were removed, just mastectomy site & nodes near the collarbone. I have very fair skin so I am preparing for the worst but they said don't worry about something that may not happen!
