Radiotherapy blisters
Hi ladies -I know have 11 treatments done and have noticed small blisters near my scar (4 inches) from lumpectomy . I’m using StrataXRT morning & night and now QV moisturiser middle of day. What else can I do. Area going darker as I have a lot of sun damage to chest .
bit sore and sorry with 14 treatments to go .

- Cathyw_BCNAFFMemberAngry yes...hope it gets better soon...
- Louise64MemberAs you can see a little bit sore
- Louise64MemberThank you . I’ve got boiled Walter with salt solution in fridge - using prior to applying cream- also in fridge 💗
- Cathyw_BCNAFFMemberI would also wet some face washers, put them in the fridge so they were nice and cold, then put them on when things got really hot. That helped too. Especially that 2 weeks after I’d finished. You’re welcome.
- Louise64Member@Cathyw MooGoo has been a blessing! So much better, making a big difference already now only 7 sessions to go... thanks for your help and support 💗💗💗💗
- Cathyw_BCNAFFMemberWe have very similar stories, even tough we’re different. Happy moogooing.
- Louise64MemberDr said that yesterday. Had a few hours sleep last night - so happy with that.
thank goodness for this online network. I was really at my wits end on weekend. - Cathyw_BCNAFFMemberHope so too. I haven’t stopped using it, after finishing RT in March. You might find things get worse a week or so after you finish, but it will get better.
- Louise64MemberI’ve started MooGoo tonight ... so soothing. Hoping it will get me through next 8 sessions 🤞🤞🤞🤞

For me I had a lot of hand, knee and feet joint pain, wasn't sleeping very well and very tired. I kept up the exercise as much as possible, just half hour walking, trying to get a bit puffed, so not a gentle stroll. This helps in the short term, but I found my knee pain was getting quite bad from that. Panadol & neurofen helped, again short term. I'm 2 days into exemastane, so am keeping an open mind about how this will go...Hopefully you'll have zero side effects, but if you have some, talk to your oncologist, there are a few options out there if arimidex isn't for you...
Cathyw Hi, Thanks for the information, like to be prepared LOL Enjoy your day Cheryl
