Radiation after lumpectomy
wondering what's the normal time after lumpectomy does radiation start? I had the small cancer and one node with cancer removed on 1st April. ( one node had changing cells - pre cancer). Oncologist ...
@arpie I was advised to cream up for 3 months after but not as often daily.The radiated breast stays warm for quite a while after treatment stops with some days more so than others.Also expect to be very tired after radiotherapy ends.I started a gentle exercise class the day after treatment ended and slept 5 hours afterwards - it’s an enveloping tiredness and you must take it easy .I was told by the staff to expect it - didn’t last that long however.
