Radiation after lumpectomy
wondering what's the normal time after lumpectomy does radiation start? I had the small cancer and one node with cancer removed on 1st April. ( one node had changing cells - pre cancer). Oncologist ...
@Sister yes you're right ... mine had gone to the nodes too and that was in one year between scans. Only 3 were cancerous but I am Her2 pos. The surgeon couldn't feel any lump. So if I had left it longer my 2cm tumour would have increased and probably more nodes cancerous. It is amazing how this disease grows over just a year!
