Radiation after lumpectomy
wondering what's the normal time after lumpectomy does radiation start? I had the small cancer and one node with cancer removed on 1st April. ( one node had changing cells - pre cancer). Oncologist ...
@viking1 You're right - you can't force people. What they don't realise is that, found early enough, it can be treated effectively. Even though mine had gone to the nodes, I was so lucky to have it found on a screening mammogram - 6 months ago they probably wouldn't have seen it - another year, I could have been looking at a different story. Not that it's aggressive, just almost invisible.
