Had my specialist appointment today. The margin was 6mm clear, not in the nodes, 90% oestrogen positive, 90% progesterone positve. HER2 not back yet. So good news that it has not got in the nodes so was very happy. Will now go on to radiotherapy but still being told that chemo is not off the table. So thats step one done. now to heal and then on to the next stage. If HER2 then I will definitely have to have chemo. Pretty happy with the results and no more surgery woo hoo.

I will definitely go on anti hormone drugs - my specialist said that. But yeah I did feel like I hit the jackpot today woo hoo. and I know if its HER2 postive I will deal with it but hope for that one less hurdle to jump over but will do as the team advises me to do. T
time to relax for a short time before therapy starts

That is great news and a relief for you. I hope it comes back her2 negative and you don't have to go the chemo route. If you do , it is doable, I promise. No picnic but doable.
