This is certainly a good topic! My Oncologist Dr De Boer did NOT recommend the Oncotype test for me at all, I did ask my Surgeon but I think he said it was expensive and not something everyone does. I took all that at face value, so I have NO IDEA what mine wouldve been. If I couldve avoided chemo??? OMG I would have had a life back. How ridiculous!!! that this isnt readily available like it is in the U.S.
I was Stage 2 but Grade 3 and my Onc works on that rule of thumb for chemo, the grade particularly. Uuugh!!!! crazy!
