Newbi

I'm new here and not sure where to begin. I was diagnosed 1st October 2015.

So far I've had 16 rounds of chemo over 29 weeks. Next is a mastectomy.

While having the chemo I managed to stay strong and smile now chemo has finished and I'm waiting for surgery I'm a blubbering mess its getting harder and harder to stay strong and smile.

  • Hi welcome to the site, it is a tough road we all travel. Take it one day at a time sometimes we go through the motions and we cope and then all of a sudden we hit a brick wall. It is ok to be emotional you are human and it is tough The trip going through bc is a rollercoaster. I have finished active treatment (I had lumpectomy ,chemo and then had a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, with some little set backs in the middle) and now on Arimidex bc keeps giving. One thing I have learned is not to tell people I'm ok when I'm not as it just keeps  building.

Come and visit we understand how this trip can be such a roller coasterxxx
