Music for radiation therapy

Apparently some centre let you chose music for your radiation therapy. Although there is music playing, I’ve not been offered this but even so, I wouldn’t want to risk creating a mental link between something horrible to my all time favourite music. So if they asked me I’d just say play Billy Joel. 😆
But this got me thinking about a radiation therapy play list (tongue in cheek):

Stayin Alive

    ACDC 'Highway to Hell.' No kidding - this was played during one of my radiation sessions - I loved it for being such a bizarre happening. Previous to that it had been 'rainforest, tinkly water' tracks which are what I did NOT want to hear so when 'Highway to Hell' blasted forth I almost got the giggles. The memory continues to make me smile.

    We definitely have a no play list! 
    Some patients bring a CD or we can plug their phone/ipod in but as you only hear a couple of songs most are happy with whatever we have chosen
