After 23 radiation treatments my boob is SOOO hot & not quite throbbing. Lathering the MooGoo on, even keeping it cold in the fridge - the MooGoo, not my boob, though that would really help ?? I'm taking Panadol & using ice packs but not getting much relief. Does anyone have suggestions? I still have 7 treatments to go ??

Tracey dont freak out as rads changes the whole texture of your boob. 12 months after my treatment my boob has lumps and bumps and lymphodema. I get the docs to check it as i am still seeing someone or other every 3 months. They say its quite common and normal.

Tracey, my boobs are very lumpy , have been since half way thru rads, my BC said it is totally normal, lots of your scar tissue will go hard, my left one felt as tho it had a small egg in, but all good on follow up. Try relax and get thru your healing. ??
Thank you ladies for all your ideas. Yesterday while rubbing in the moo goo I found a new lump in same breast. Trying REAL HARD not to freak out, but it's amazing how fear can make the heat/soreness disappear.
Cold cucumber is refreshing. For longer relief Aloe Vera 100% gel with no alcohol is also nice and cooling.
Solugel by the bucket and special gauze from the bc nurse

I burnt quite badly with 7 treatments to go. Solugel in the fridge worked wonders for me. I reapplied it every couple of hour, i had gauze and dressings changed daily once i started to peel. Good news is heals up real quick once its all over.

Hi Tracey, I found the 99% aloe which I kept in the fridge very soothing - didn't try the manuka honey but hear it is a miracle ointment for just about anything. I am 8 weeks finished radiation now - still get a hot boob after I exercise though. Hope you find the thing that works for you - nearly there - keep smiling.

Just pure Manooka Honey, surprisingly it soaks in to your skin pretty quickly and the relief is almost instant , try stay topless as long as you can after applying...... Good luck with the rest of your treatment and 'happy healing' will all seem like a bad dream in a couple of weeks. ??
Kathy you are so right, if I put cream on straight after treatment it feels like I'm cooking. Was that a manooka honey cream or the actual honey you used? Have seen hand cream with manooka in it? Glad you've finished treatment with your sense of humour intact ??
