hi everyone I now only have 2 weeks of chemo left and I have 3-4mm white fuzz growing :) sounds vain but the thought of having be hair coming back is so exciting ! Is there any tips to help it grow faster ? Did you just rock the pixie look ? I’m even considering extensions when it’s long enough ! Anyone done that ?(I’ve always had long hair and I think it would help me feel normal )

I’m at 11/12 of paclitaxol. This was taken yesterday. Dark hair. I think there’s about 12mm of hair there. The back is much longer. I’m embracing my male pattern baldness. ❤️

I went with the pixie look. As soon as I had enough coverage...that was it. Big earing...beautiful natural makeup and bright glasses. In fact..after growing my hair out for 12 months I've just got it chopped again. 1st photo...recut to short. 2nd photo about 3 weeks after chemo. 3 photo was about 6 months.

The photos have loaded all wrong but bottom one is one months growth but the rest are 3,6,8 10 and 14 months later. Margie. X

Hi @Jen79x ohhh the fuzz is exciting!!! I actually liked it LOL unfortunately nothing helps it grow faster though and I had long blonde hair...heres my pics in a collage from beginning to end of chemo and beyond.And this is now at just over 2.5yrs post chemo...It will take many years to get it back to where you had it, but I couldnt be happier with how mine has grown, yes feels slow but I get it trimmed now and then too.Hugs Melinda xo

Hi there @Jen79x it’s definately is so exciting when you get fuzz hey! No tips to make it grow quicker unfortunately but I just rocked the pixie look and when it was long enough I had my hairdresser put a colour through it as it grew back salt and pepper grey lol! I have progress pics if you’d like me to put them up just let me know. Mines been growing for 15 months now and I can finally put it in a small pony tail. Still need a tonne of bobby pins on the sides but a pony tail none the less.!! And I colour it as required. Mine was waist length so long way to go if I want to grow it that length again. It’s at that in between stage at the moment but I’m hanging in there with it lol. And only 2 chemos to go woohoo! Its so good when you can see the Tip of Shitsville mountain isn’t it. Margie xx

I’m at 8/12 paclitaxol and if mine grows back as quickly as yours Sunshine0206 I’ll be super excited. You look great! I won’t bother with a photo, you can hardly see the little bit of white fuzz I’ve got! Good luck with your regrowth Jen79x.

Mine started back on taxol too which surprised me, just peach fluff at first then definitely white hair all over.

Mine was growing a bit on taxol ...but bald at the front (male pattern receding hairline)until after finished.

I used L'Oréal gair regrowth product which I think helped stimulate the cells. And when I started back on a multivitamin the colour started changing. ..coincidence ...who knows. I used to be light brown but that colour seems to have gone. It's either dark base colour or silver.
