Mine took about 9 months to get back colour but the really good part was I finally (after the snow white lamb look!) went browner and lighter rather than as grey as I had been. I had been colouring my hair for years, had just grown it all out to natural (a good steely grey!) and was happy with it, when it all went. Now 5 years on, there is naturally plenty of grey but the overall look is quite auburn, apart from one streak which I colour. I don't think colouring hair causes cancer but chemo sure wallops your hair and scalp, so even now I am happy to minimise what I do to them. My hair is still a bit curlier than it used to be but I have changed my style, it suits my (ageing) face better. So look forward to some fun experimentation!
