hair loss
Hi all,Some advice please. I start chemo on 10/2/12. I intended on having a cropping with a few friends and of course champaign just before, my hairdresser will come over to my home.
I was chatting...
It is worth asking your medical oncologist re your "potion". I had Docetaxel (Taxetare) and Cycla....mide. These make you totally lose your hair. I am a bit suspicious of Paciltaxel - seems like it might be in the same family as Taxetare. I had long hair and lost my hair in a gradual process. I had radiation before chemo so cut my hair to chin length then a bit higher when radiation was finished then went to number 4 but when the hair started falling out my husband shaved it off. When the chemo was finished and the hair started growing back, my husband shaved the first "crop" off as well as it was just "bum fluff" and would have been full of chemicals. XLeonie
