Hair Growing Back
Hi All,
I am on my last paclitaxel chemo next week and staring to look beyond the chemo bad ass.
I am just completing 8 courses of dose dense chemo - 4 xAC, 4x Paclitaxel and am wondering how long it took for others to grow their hair back. I know this is assuming it has grown back sufficiently, as some women are unlucky with hair regrowth.
Just hoping you can share you experiences of when your hair grew back enough to actually feel like you had enough to do something with and any changes in your hair regrowth from before chemo.
Many thanks,
Jo

I am not on any long term hormone suppressors etc. - kmakmMember@"Kiwi Angel" Oh dear!
- Kiwi_AngelMember@JJ70 my lashes are the same - just when I think they are doing ok they disappear again. Asked a coworker if she had eyelash extensions yesterday and it turns out just her normal lashes - have forgotten what normal lashes look like :D
- kmakmMember@JJ70 So annoying
- JJ70MemberI still lose clumps of eyelashes all at once...just happened ahsin. Inner eye- top lid...both eyes. Half the lashes gone! Still coming out in sync 9 months after chemo finished.
- Kiwi_AngelMember@kmakm of course I remember your monks tonsure :D. Mine is very sparse - very odd - not complaining though. Have the most amazing trip xoxo
- kmakmMemberMy leg and underarm hair now grows at a snails pace. Happy with that. Bikini zone, normal. Lady garden? Well that is interesting and deeply mystifying. Remember by monk's tonsure? (How could you forget?!) Well it remains in existence... Not totally without growth, but very sparse. And further back in the garden, the gates shall we say, have recently become very sparse as well. I don't understand! Maybe it's a natural thinning due to my bastard menopause. Ladies who've been before me, is this somethingthat happens??
- Kiwi_AngelMember@JJ70 looking good :)
- JJ70MemberMy latest tribute look -Brigitte Nielsen!
