Hair Growing Back
Hi All,
I am on my last paclitaxel chemo next week and staring to look beyond the chemo bad ass.
I am just completing 8 courses of dose dense chemo - 4 xAC, 4x Paclitaxel and am wondering how long it took for others to grow their hair back. I know this is assuming it has grown back sufficiently, as some women are unlucky with hair regrowth.
Just hoping you can share you experiences of when your hair grew back enough to actually feel like you had enough to do something with and any changes in your hair regrowth from before chemo.
Many thanks,
Jo

- JJ70Member@Kiwi Angel I grabbed that razor and could have kissed it when I needed to shave again. Normalcy is under-rated!
- Kiwi_AngelMember@JJ70 mine is growing back as normal - I’m lamenting the fact that I’ll have to start shaving it again soon!

- JJ70MemberHi Finch! @kmakm and I have been describing the pube regrowth with much fun and frivolity.
I resembled The Blues Brothers with pubic sideburns for quite sometime!

- FinchMemberLove your shoes @"Kiwi Angel" I couldn't possibly wear those in country Victoria's climate at the moment. I'd have frost bite
- FinchMemberNo eyebrows or eyelashes on me, eagerly waiting for regrowth. Drawing them in with eyebrow pencil if going somewhere special, otherwise not bothering at the moment.
I have the beginnings of a five o'clock shadow for pubes and same on my head. Chemo hey !! - FinchMember
- Kiwi_AngelMemberHappy days - I got into the jimmy choos. The fluid retention is retreating
